Welcome to Battle Tanks!

This is a game about annihilating enemy tanks and surviving as long as you can.
Here's how to play:

• Move your tank with the WASD or Arrow keys
• Aim with the mouse
• Fire your cannon with the left mouse button or the space bar

The goal of the game is to get the highest score. You can do this by surviving for a long time and by killing enemy tanks. Every 10 seconds you are alive you will get 5 points.

There are multiple different types of cannons in the game. They each have a different function, get different rewards, and have different drawbacks. Try to choose the one that is right for you.

  • Range: 150
  • Normal projectile size
  • Kill upgrades increase range, movement speed, and firing rate

• Shotgun
• • Special features: Shoots multiple projectiles at once in a spread pattern
  • Drawbacks: Very short range and slow reload time
  • Reload time: 1500ms
  • Range: 70
  • Small projectile size
  • Kill upgrades increase range and the number of bullets in each shot

• 3-Shot
• • Special features: Shoots 3 projectiles in short succession
  • Drawbacks: Slow reload time
  • Reload time: 800ms, 50ms for burst
  • Range: 150
  • Normal projectile size
  • Kill upgrades increase firing rate and movement speed

• Machine Gun
• • Special features: Fires projectiles very quickly
  • Drawbacks: Short range makes it dangerous when fighting
  • Reload time: 100ms
  • Range: 100
  • Normal projectile size
  • Kill based rewards increase range and firing rate

• Sniper
• • Special features: Fires large projectiles with very long range. Projectiles can go through enemies
  • Drawbacks: Slow movement speed and very slow reload time
  • Reload time: 1500ms
  • Range: 450
  • Large projectile size
  • Kill based rewards increase firing rate and bullet speed
