About Myself
General
I am currently twenty years old, and I live in a small town in Iowa called Holland. I have two cats and one dog, and I enjoy spending time with animals whenever I get the chance. Things that I like to do in my spare time are collecting and listening to vinyl records, 3D designing with CAD, aquiring and working on vehicles, playing online video games, sitting by camp fires, and playing pool with my friends.
Profession
Since graduating high school in 2022, I have worked full time in Waterloo, Iowa as a CNC machinist at Performance Carbide. I have been trained on multiple types of machines, including 5-axis CNC machines made by Walter and Anca, CNC surface grinders by Bridgeport, and Wit-O-Matic insert grinders by Wit-Son and ARL. My job consists of resharpening or grinding new carbide/high speed steel(HSS) cutting tools.
Hobbies
Vinyl Collecting
I have enjoyed listening to and collecting vinyl since I was about eighteen. Whenever I find an artist that I really like, I try to look out for any of their albums for sale. I shop for records online and in records stores across town. So far my personal collection has reached over seventy albums. I also own a collection of over one hundred records - most of which are from the fifties - that were passed down to me from my great grandparents. I have a record player that can play three different types of vinyl: 78s from the early half of the 1900s, 45s from the late half of the 1900s, and 33s that are currently the most commonly produced form of vinyl.
